DSS competed against 6 Northern Natal schools in the Zonal Christians Schools Sports Association competition on 17 August. The competition was stiff, especially from the Ladysmith schools – Monument Primary and Egerton.
The competition involved 9 age groups from u6 to u14 and there were 110 events on the program. DSS athletes achieved 15 gold, 18 silver and 13 bronze. Philip Vermaak was the top u14 age group performer.
