The closing assembly for Term 1 took place on 20 March. Head prefects, Joshua Combrink and Kwanele Hlophe ably managed the program for the occasion. They warmly welcomed the parents and visitors. The scripture reading from Isaiah 53:6-10 was done in English and IsiZulu by matric learners, Mbalenhle Dube and Mabotse Mawila.
The music and singing items had an Easter touch with some great hymns such as When I survey the wondrous cross by Isaac Watts and There is a green hill far away by Cecil Alexander.
The learners left for their break with their reports and Beacon marshmallow eggs, of course.
