BOOK CHARACTER DAY

What better way to bring books to life than dress up as your favourite book character and come to school? The pre-primary, foundation and intermediate phase learners did just that with great aplomb on 12 March.

General de le Ray arrived, Tintin, Heidi, Little Miss Princess, Mary Poppins and CT Studd were all there, to name but a few, even King Shaka came for the day. It was quite an illustrious group of characters and it was amazing to spend time in their company. They made many new friends – especially characters like Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

They loved dressing up, the teachers and parents (and high school learners) loved their company and enthusiasm for life.
