DSS Bridge Building competition was held on 24 April.
13 bridges of various designs were entered but one bridge was superior to all the other entries in all aspects. This bridge, designed and built by Emmanuel Meyer, Julian Vermaak and Owen Witthoft, carried 100kg. Tom Joubert, Benjamin Tschudi and Noah Vogel’s bridge carried 80 kg. Third position was taken by Samukelisiwe Madiba, Mbali Mbobo and Mpendulo Mwelase. Their bridge carried 70 kg.
