Debbie Long visited the Foundation Phase on Thursday, 8 Feb. She read Smudge, the unique baby zebra, to the children – a story she has written.
She was dressed in black and white. Her blouse had zebra markings on. She carried a black and white striped bag and brought along a stuffed zebra for the children to cuddle. Needless to say, they were captivated especially when they realised that Smudge was a real live zebra living in KZN when she showed them a short video clip of the ‘real Smudge’.
