The last award assembly of the year is one in which learners receive bronze merit or half colours for academics, sport and other achievements. They also receive subject merit awards in which Senior Phase learners must achieve 80%+ in examinable subjects , 90%+ in non-examinable subjects or 80%+ as an aggregate. In the FET Phase subject merit awards are awarded to learners who have achieved 80%+ in all subjects or 80%+ as an aggregate.
