On 27 February the Grade 10 girls were introduced to ways in which to reuse plastic bottles to create simple and easy maintenance vegetable gardens. A few hours were spent designing the plastic bottles and setting up the gardens. The girls are required to tend their gardens as well as harvest and cook their products. After which they will present their project to members of the community in an effort to encourage people to grow their own food.
