The Grade 10 boys got stuck in and made meaningful contributions through their community service stint this year on 8 & 9 February.
The first team tackled a mountainous task of moving earth and rock in a major effort to transform the gardens at school with a new multi-tiered rockery. Two additional teams worked their way through along the mission’s main road and trimmed back encroaching grasses and unwanted weeks along the edges and side roads. Some creative techniques were also used to improve pathways leading to and around the auditorium. Two days of hot hard labour was both rewarding and worthwhile. Well done, boys on a sterling job!
