2018 started on a good note.
The Principal addressed the school while standing on a brand new stage and behind an impressive lectern both of which were financed and created by the Class of 2017. A number of new children were welcomed to our school and 19 Grade R learners were given a gift for choosing DSS as their school! Miss S Ngubane, a teacher fresh out of college, joined the staff.
Mr M Ngubane, the Chairman of the Board of Directors welcomed and addressed the learners. The Principal, Miss Newlands introduced the theme for 2018 … BE COURAGEOUS. And then it was back into school: the challenges, the stimulation, the excitement, the joys and all the other things that go along with living and learning in a Christian school.
