The Grade 10 boys did their community service on 9 and 10 February this year at KwaSizabantu Mission.
The boys assisted with the repairs and maintenance on the mission before the Ministers Conference which took place in March. The boys were divided into groups. One group had to clean and clear the gutters and fascia boards. This sounds easy but it can be quite tiring, especially in hot weather. The second group fixed old and planted new fencing poles … you can imagine they had to work really hard! The third group ran a valet service: Cleaning all the mission vehicles that hadn’t been recently cleaned. It was a wonderful opportunity for the boys to serve the community they live in.
