Umbrellas and crowns,
Hats and gowns…
All these were part of the Foundation Phase Poetry Eisteddfod which took place on 26 May. The learners entertained parents, teachers and guests by reciting poems they had been learning for this event. We don’t know who was more nervous about getting up on stage, the learners or their parents? The learners certainly made both parents and teachers proud by courageously speaking in front of an audience and remembering all their lines – some even did some acting too. All the learners received a certificate for their achievement and participation.
