The annual Gr10 community service took place on 15 and 16 April. The girls visited Momtheka, a neighbouring creche, and painted murals, played with the children, set up the Gr R classroom and showcased their acting talents and creativity with puppet shows. The children and the staff appreciated the input and were very grateful for the toys and clothing donated by DSS parents.
The boys spent their two days giving the building that accommodates Emseni employees a facelift. They sanded and painted the roof and repainted the walls.
We are grateful to our local community for affording our learners the opportunity to serve.
