A Library Gift from Trimborn & Shell

34 DSC00039

On 6 February DSS was given the wonderful gift of many, many books from Trimborn and Shell.

P Trimborn Agency is one of the biggest distributors/agents for Shell SA. Shell has been active in South Africa since 1902. Their main business activities include retail and commercial fuels, lubricants and oils, aviation, marine, manufacturing and upstream exploration.
DSS definitely benefitted from the Trimborn/Shell partnership when representatives from the two companies presented heaps of books to our library.  It is a well-known fact that 'readers are leaders' and books expand and extend children. A gift of books can be shared over and over. Thank you, we treasure good books.
